Variety is proud to support children who may be disadvantaged or have special needs.
We support children and families across Jersey with practical, flexible help tailored to individual need. Support is often provided quickly, quietly, and with dignity. We work closely with families, schools, health professionals, and local organisations.
Supporting Children Through Accessibility, Essentials, and Inclusion
Our projects are here to enhance school playgrounds, provide essential and specialist equipment, make outdoor places fully accessible and ensure all children have equal opportunities through educational trips and community events – regardless of ability.
Ensuring Every Child Has the Support They Need
Variety offers financial support in the form of dedicated support workers who work closely with schools, offering one-to-one guidance to children who need extra help adjusting to the school setting. We also work alongside health visitors, social workers, occupational therapists and other organisations to provide children and their families with support.
Variety at Work: Providing Essentials for Families in Need
From food and clothing vouchers to baby equipment, children's beds, primary school uniform vouchers and more, Variety assists with a range of donations towards vital essentials for children and their families. We endeavour to provide life-changing, practical support for those in need.
