Children’s Christmas Party Brings Festive Magic to Local Families
December 17th, 2025
On Friday 6 December, Variety Jersey hosted its much-loved Children’s Christmas Party at the Hotel de Normandie, welcoming 104 children along with their parents and carers for an evening filled with festive joy.
The event was once again very generously donated by Elder Statesman Robyn Lapidus, whose continued support helps make these magical moments possible. The evening featured a lively disco and entertainment from Helen and Lisa of Hoops and Glitter, whose colourful face painting and hula hoop fun are always a huge hit with the children.
Guests enjoyed a superb buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, followed by delicious desserts that were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The highlight of the evening was, of course, the arrival of Santa Claus, who delighted every child with a gift and a chocolate selection box. One parent perfectly captured the spirit of the evening, saying, “This is magical – no amount of money could buy this.”
The chocolate selection boxes were kindly donated by the staff at Appleby’s Law Firm, and to add an extra touch of Christmas cheer, each family also received a £50 Bambola gift voucher, enabling parents to provide an additional present from Santa on Christmas morning.
Variety Jersey extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the evening such a memorable and joyful celebration for local children and their families.
